流逝的夏天里还有阳光
一个女孩儿写了一首情歌，思念曾经相恋的男孩。她在落日的余晖中躺在乡村湖畔的草地上轻轻地唱，歌的名字是Tim McGraw。那是一个故事：悄然逝去的那个夏天里装满了对男孩的回忆，他曾说女孩儿的眼睛闪烁着忧郁的光芒，能使Georgia夜空的星星害羞得躲藏，女孩却说那是撒谎……故事很简单，听起来虽然遗憾但却没有悲伤。没有过多希望，就是在思念的时候，他们都有共同的回忆——Tim McGraw。
这是Taylor Swift在2006年夏末发行的以当红乡村巨星Tim McGraw的名字作标题的一首单曲，这首单曲一经发行就引起了广泛的注意，也打进了Billboard乡村排行榜前10，值得注意的是当时Taylor Swift才15岁，她不但是歌曲的作者，首张同名专集里面的所有歌曲也都是她亲自参与谱写的。
其实Taylor Swift的音乐之路来自于她的外婆——一名专业的歌剧演员。10岁的时候Taylor Swift就在当地小镇表演，11岁的时候在费城76人队的比赛前合唱，12岁投入到吉他练习，一天要练4个小时，直到手磨出血，也正是在这个时候，Taylor Swift的父母认识到女儿的音乐天赋，并极力支持她的音乐事业。
为了支持女儿的音乐之路，家人定期带着Taylor Swift去Tennessee州的Nashville市，因为在这里他们可以见到一些歌曲创作者。
继而全家搬到了Nashville近郊，这也加速了Taylor Swift的音乐事业。一次在Nashville的Bluebird咖啡馆的演出是Taylor Swift的事业转折点，音乐人Scott Borchetta看中了她，并决定与其签约。在这之后也就是2006年8月Tim McGraw问世，我们也听到了Swift为我们带的那个故事。
